Chris Forrest has been said to be South Africa's answer to Steve Wright, the pokerfaced star of American stand-up. Chris' humour can be described as witty and cynical one-line humour that is thought provoking and to the point. Utterly nerdish and unflustered, looking coincidentally like Drew Carey- slowed-up delivery ensures that audiences take to him enthusiastically.

Chris is definitely no Stranger to the international scene, he was chosen to perform at the Edinburgh festival in 2003 and 2005 (to sell out crowds) as well as being given the opportunity to work at various comedy clubs in and around London, inclusive of the esteemed “Headliners” in Chiswick, and the infamous “Up the Creek” in Greenwich.

As both a writer and performer, he was also one of the stars on the highly successful “Pure Monate Show”, a comedy series which ran on SABC 1 in 2003 and 2004, apart from staring in many ad campaigns including; “Joe the volunteer coach” in the Sasol Olympic campaign which had the whole country talking. Chris also appeared in the recent Vodacom ad campaign, as a Manchester United fan. More recently, Chris appeared not once, not twice, but an incredible  FOUR times as himself in an Ebucks advert.

Chris is also one of the founding members of “Starship Improvise”, a comedy group specializing in "Who's Line is it Anyway" style comedy.
