David Kibuuka is undoubtedly, one of the young rising stars of South African comedy. A graduate in Finance with Honors student of Wits University, his unique brand of humour combines wit and intellect while maintaining a connection with his audiences. Originally from Uganda yet having grown up in Krugersdorp, South Africa, his unusual upbringing has allowed him to explore topics in a completely different light create subject matter that has a universal appeal and relevance.

Kibuuka has been seen performing across the country at some of the countries largest events on the comedy calendar. He has toured alongside John Vlismas & Barry Hilton, and headlined major road shows for large corporate clients. He had a lead role in The Pure Monate Show, and scripted internationally recognized film, Bunny Chow. He was also a part of the creative team for the 2005 Loerie Awards, wrote parts of the script for Laugh Out Loud on Mnet, and the Pure Monate Show. The  young, prodigious star that is Kibuuka is launching a full-scale assult on the comedy industry with a ready arsenal of wit and charm, barricading himself in a fortress of superstardom!
