Lazola Gola is a Cape Town native, relocated to Johannesburg to be even more funny. With his hysterical, unique views on everyday life, it’s no wonder he takes you on a ride into a world of unique observations, different and hilarious perspectives on everyday life. His act has matured into well rounded stage persona, unusual and quirky.
Some of the Cape Town comedy clubs that he has performed at are Zula Bar, Mr. Pickwicks and Cool Runnings, just to name a few.
He has also performed in Johannesburg comedy Clubs such as Tanz Café, Cool Runnings and Baseline.

He has featured in quite a number of shows namely; Loyiso Gola For President Final Run (Market Theatre, opening act, Ha Ha Wits Comedy Festival, Men’s Day Comedy Show; Tshwane Comedy Festival, Rocking The Daisies Music Festival and Pecha Kucha’ Cape Town.)
He’s been a performer and writer on “Late Night News with Loyiso Gola.” He was also a performer and writer on SABC 2’s “The Bantu Hour.”
Lazola has acquired the following: International Emmy nomination, 2x Comics Choice nominations and Pendoring Gold.
